Sami has more than 35 years of healthcare services experience and a proven track record of value creation, while leading organizations that have delivered significant improvements in patient care and clinical outcomes.  He has successfully founded and grown businesses in the physician practice and multi-site healthcare markets, including radiology.

Sami co-founded and served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Radiologix. Over a ten-year period, he helped build Radiologix from a creative idea into a leading publicly traded national provider of diagnostic imaging services.  In 2006, he led the merger of Radiologix with Primedex Health Systems to create RadNet.

He joins us from Sun Capital Partners, a global private-equity firm, where he served as Managing Director and Operating Partner.  Prior to Sun Capital, he served as CEO of Unifeye Vision Partners, PhyMed Healthcare Group, American Pathology Partners and National Surgical Care; private equity-backed healthcare providers in the eye care, anesthesiology, pathology and surgery center markets.

Sami earned his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and his Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester.

Charlie joined RAYUS in 2022 and has over 25 years of health care leadership experience including physician practice, hospital and outpatient organizations with radiology as a key component of each entity.  He has led to growth and operational improvement across these organizations resulting in improved efficiency, outcomes, performance and quality.  He leads operations across RAYUS including imaging centers, mobile imaging, teleradiology, real estate, construction, engineering, procurement and de novo integration.

He was previously U.S. Chief Operating Officer for GenesisCare USA and President of CHI’s KentuckyOne Health Medical Group/Ambulatory Services.   Prior to these roles, he served in CEO/COO roles with Ascension-Saint Thomas Heart/Physician Services, PhyCor and private physician groups.

Charlie received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee and his Master of Business Administration and Health Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is also a CPA and Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Martin Krost serves as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at RAYUS, where he provides strategic leadership and oversight for the Information Technology department. His responsibilities span a comprehensive range of functions including application and clinical support, business intelligence, artificial intelligence (AI), delivery and business relationship management, information security, innovation and transformation, and IT operations. With over 20 years of extensive experience in information technology and cybersecurity, Martin is focused on driving RAYUS’s strategic IT initiatives and technology vision.

Prior to joining RAYUS, Martin held various leadership positions at Sun Capital Partners, Ultimate Software, Peak10 Data Centers, and 1Vault Networks. He brings significant expertise in aligning technological solutions with organizational objectives.

Martin earned his education from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa.

Sarah Odess serves as Chief People Officer for RAYUS, where she leads the organization’s people strategy, focusing on culture, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. She partners with leaders to align people practices with business priorities and growth objectives.

Prior to joining RAYUS, Sarah founded and led Catered Consulting, a boutique HR consulting firm specializing in employee engagement, organizational culture, leadership development, and talent strategy within private equity portfolio companies. She also brings extensive experience from HR leadership roles in publicly traded, global companies, like Kellogg, Advanced Drainage Systems, and JLL.

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Purdue University and a Master of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Bowling Green State University.

Tiffany Spartz serves as Executive Vice President, Operations & Integration at RAYUS Radiology, where she leads enterprise operations, integration strategy, practice management, real estate and procurement, and overall performance across the organization’s national network of centers. She brings more than a decade of leadership experience in outpatient imaging, physician engagement, market expansion, and hospital joint-venture partnerships.

Since joining RAYUS in 2011 as an Account Executive, Tiffany has grown alongside the organization, advancing through progressive leadership roles including Executive Vice President of Practice Management, Senior Vice President of Operations and Business Development, and Vice President of Sales. Throughout her career, she has partnered closely with physicians, health systems, and operational teams to drive sustainable growth, strengthen referral relationships, and enhance the patient and provider experience across multi-state markets.

Tiffany is known for her collaborative leadership style and her ability to connect strategy to day-to-day execution. She is passionate about expanding access to high-quality care across diagnostic imaging, interventional radiology, vascular services, therapeutic pain management, and veterinary imaging. Through strong partnerships and operational excellence, she is committed to delivering exceptional patient and provider experiences in the communities RAYUS serves.

As the Vice President of Public Policy, Christopher “Kit” Crancer is responsible for leading policy strategies at the national and state levels that enhance RAYUS’s commitment to providing quality care and services to patients and clinicians. He joined RAYUS in 2015 as the organization’s Director of State Legislative Policy, and has since developed extensive policy knowledge in the imaging industry. He’s been instrumental in lobbying for countless pieces of health care legislation that allows RAYUS to continue delivering high-quality imaging services across the country.

Additionally, Kit also serves as the Executive Director of the Quality & Innovation Institute Managed by RAYUS Radiology, where he oversees and implements programs and initiatives that benefit clinicians and patients in our local communities.

Per Normark leads RAYUS’s legal, compliance and risk management teams. He is a seasoned health care attorney with more than 30 years of experience. Prior to joining RAYUS, Per served as the vice president, general counsel and compliance officer of MedQuest Associates, Inc. He was also the Assistant Attorney General for the state of Georgia and an attorney for the United States Department of Interior. He is an active member of both the Minnesota State Bar Association and the American Health Lawyers Association.

Ziad is the Senior Vice President of Transformation at RAYUS, where he leads initiatives to improve access, efficiency, and performance across the organization. He works cross-functionally with clinical, operational, and technology teams to simplify workflows, expand the use of AI, and turn strategy into real results. His work helps teams operate more effectively, improves experiences for patients, physicians, and payors, and supports high-quality care and long-term growth.

Prior to RAYUS, Ziad served as a private equity Operating Executive, where he collaborated with portfolio company leadership to develop and execute value creation levers. He brought together deep cross-functional experience, strategic insight, and a strong execution mindset to deliver operational and financial results.

Ziad began his career at Bain & Company, advising global clients across industries. He later joined Google as Strategy & Operations Manager, serving as the COO of the Waze Global SMB business unit. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Georgetown University.

Angela Valchine is a senior healthcare sales and marketing executive with more than 20 years of experience building high-performing, integrated teams and driving sustainable growth across complex healthcare markets.

Throughout her career, Angela has led end-to-end sales and marketing organizations, strengthening referral partnerships, activating multi-channel growth strategies, and leveraging data and analytics to clearly demonstrate performance and ROI. She is recognized for aligning strategy, execution, and measurement—ensuring growth initiatives are scalable, accountable, and results-driven. Angela is deeply passionate about insight-driven decision-making to unlock growth, expand referral networks, and build durable competitive advantage for healthcare organizations.

Prior to joining RAYUS, Angela held senior leadership roles in referral development at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (now City of Hope), GenesisCare, and Behavioral Health Group.

Angela earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Oakland University in Michigan.

Jarred Onarheim has been with RAYUS for the last 18 years. He has held a variety of roles in both Business Development and Operations, focusing on transformational growth with both acquisitions, new center development and operational excellence. He has over 20 years of healthcare experience and currently serves as the SVP of Operations and Business Development overseeing all operations in Washington, Oregon, California, Maine, Massachusetts, Virginia, Tennessee, Illinois and Central Florida. His commitment is to ensure patients and our partners have access to the highest quality outpatient radiology experience.

Jarred has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Since joining RAYUS in 2005, Cory has had the opportunity to lead both Sales and Operations initiatives.  Currently, he serves as the SVP of Business Development and has responsibility for growth.  Cory graduated from Southeast Missouri State University.   In his free time, you can find Cory and his wife Kelly at the ball fields with their 3 young boys.
